The Northern States Search Dog Network (NSSDN) is composed of independent K9 search and rescue (SAR) units who agree to a set of standards and K9 Team evaluation criteria. The evaluation criteria is used to certify and re-certify NSSDN SAR Unit K9 Teams as "mission ready" in their specialty.

NSSDN is committed to offering a highly trained resource to official agencies free of charge.
